A rifle with high headshot damage and a decent clip size. Receives a resistance penetration buff if you score enough headshot kills with it.

Appearance

The 'Renegade' Rifle resembles that of the 'Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Material (SRS99-AM)' sniper rifle from the Halo Series.

Gameplay

The 'Renegade' Rifle is a tier 5 gun that requires rifle ammo to fire.

Secondary fire allows the user to use the scope to engage in long range combat against zombies. The weapon has alternate firemodes that allows user to change the scope zoom range from 'Full-Zoom' to 'Half-Zoom'.

Killing a zombie with the 'Renegade' grants user Renegade stacks, can stack up to three at maximum.

Pros

The 'Renegade' Rifle can be heavily affected by the Circle of Sin bounty trinket, for perfecting the trinket gives the user a potential extra stack of Renegade. However, with the nature of the weapon giving Renegade stacks for each kill, it is possible to hold four Renegade stacks indefinitely.

Renegade stacks boosts the headshot damage by 8% and pierce zombie resist by 10% for each stack, which means the user can have a total max headshot damage of 24% and pierce zombie resist by 30% overall (32% headshot damage and 40% zombie resist pierce if holding 4 renegade stacks at the ready.)

The 'Renegade' can synergize with Soul Rounds giving the player a heavy projectile attack for every combat stack (renegade) collected.

Like other scoped weapons, setting the scope to 'Half-Zoom' gives the user a large accuracy bonus while providing enough field of view for increased awareness.

The weapon has a small chance to create Overkills (5%), which means the user is granted small extra points should they waste shots on a extremely weaken zombie.

Cons

Despite it being a positive, the 'Renegade' is a bloodlust weapon, meaning kills are required to make it powerful long term. Otherwise at its basic form the firerate and reload speeds are horrifically slow.
