Insanity effects are effects that can happen during the game after you have spent a certain amount of points in Banished Sigil, many of the effects only affect vision, but at high levels of insanity, the effects can give some [[debuff]] or hurt the player.
Insanity effects have six levels, which get higher as you spend more points in Banished Sigil, and higher levels begin to have lethal effects that can begin to damage the user or greatly affect vision.

There are three lethal insanity effects:

The Banished Sigil.

The Banished Sigil is a type of sigil that can appear at any time during wave 1 at a random position on the map, which allows humans to buy high quality items but spending points and gaining more insanity.

Unlike Sigils, the Banished Sigil cannot be teleported or corrupted.

The first human who presses the "USE" key on the banished sigil gets a bounty, depending on what wave is it (wave 1/2 = 1 bounty reward, wave 3/4 = 2 bounty rewards, and wave 5/6 = 3 bounty rewards).

  • You do not obtain any insanity progress if you loot banished items and not buy them
  • Price modifiers affect the insanity gain.

FINDING THE SIGIL - Finding the banished sigil can be hard, but can also be easy if correct items are utilized. Drones such as Hauler Drone are perfect tools to utilize since you do not run a risk of getting yourself or your teammates killed and are simply cheap to buy the drone (10 points). After you find the sigil, help others find it by placing a message beacon at the sigil and set the text with right click to "BANISHED SIGIL HERE".

REMEMBER WHERE THE ITEMS ARE AT - Most of the items in the shop are going to be on stock, some items can only have one stock so be the first person to buy the item before everybody else.

BE THE FIRST PERSON TO USE BANISHED SIGIL - As mentioned before, pressing E on the banished sigil first will award you with the banished bounty. These bounties are considered best, if not, powerful in early games as you would regularly get bounties in mid-game.
