The 'Fire Bomb' Ray Gun Mark II-Y is a tier 5 gun located in the sigil crate (Pointsave) or in a supply drop with 2% chance (Main).

Its primary fire lobs a heavy high damaging fire orb that explodes on impact, if shot within 5 meters the orb slightly grows, causing ignition/fire damage against zombies.

Check icon.png Pros

The 'Fire Bomb' comes with fire damage itself, allowing the user to focus on buying Ignition Compund without the need for flame rounds to supplement them.

Additionally, the weapon follows the trend of all other fire related weaponry, meaning one can buy a separate rounds trinket like Pulse Rounds and still keep the fire attribute.

Since the 'Fire Bomb' is considered to be a projectile weapon it can have its overall damage increase with Projectile Weight, allowing the user to destroy zombie group rushes with ease.

Cross icon.png Cons

Due to its high area taper, it is easy for one to kill themselves accidentally if they mistake their shots and get caught in the blast radius.

The weapon is slow to reload and has a very low clipsize, making it unwise to be used as a panic weapon.

The weapon is costly, 300 points, and cannot be upgraded with Remantler.
