Flame Rounds is a rounds trinket which causes your gun damage to cause ignites to zombies. It reduces the damage you deal by 15% to compensate, but this does not affect the calculations, it only affects the gun damage dealt afterwards (the damage that does not ignite).
Calculations
There are two calculations done for Flame Rounds - the chance to ignite and the ignite damage dealt.
Chance to Ignite
The chance to ignite is 36% of the base damage + 8% (multiplied by your round trinket power).
Example: 100 damage dealt with a rifle, 36% of this is 36% plus 8% is 44% chance to ignite.
Ignite Duration
The ignite duration is (75% of the base damage + 8 damage (multiplied by your round trinket power)) / (5/0.3), rounded up to the nearest 0.3 seconds.
Example: 100 damage with a rifle that successfully ignites will cause an 5.1s damage burn.
